We met up with N’s sister and niece at the swimming pool this morning while N helped his mum sort some final bits for tomorrow’s funeral. L enjoyed showing off her swimming skills to her cousin.

After sarnies at N’s mum’s we had a short outing up to Thruscross Reservoir.

Headed back to the farm shortly after and I finally worked out how to cook a pan of pasta on the dreaded Aga! I had to throw a load away the other day - who knew pasta could cook ‘wrong’?!
