Feeding frenzy

Our area has been swarmed by “army worms.” They can devastate grass and anything green they are actually caterpillars laid by some species of moth. But never fear! Chipping sparrows to the rescue! I watched these tiny birds gorge themselves in the lawn this morning. What a feast for them! The circle of life.
