Holding out...

...for a frog's future! I've been worried whether the frogspawn that was recently deposited in my pond will have survived the recent icy weather. Many of the eggs look fine but some have already turned into mush - but it's nature's way of ensuring that enough do survive!

Frogspawn- a haiku

A clump of black eggs,
Jelly-packed and holding out
For a frog's future.
