When this old ring was new...

When my Grandfather passed away in December 2010, I was very honoured to be given his Wedding ring by my Grandmother.

I have always been close to my grandparents, so it meant a lot to have something very personal to remember him by. I currently have it around a Saint Christopher chain, as that is something he also wore.

I particularly love the scrape on the ring. Having spent about 60 years on his finger, it has a few scars which I'm sure have stories behind them! Spending most of his life as a Welding Fabricator for Pressed Steel, and subsequently British Layland I did enjoy hearing the stories too!
