Falmouth

After yesterday’s escapades we left mum and dad to have a chilled day whilst we popped out for a few hours.

We started in Falmouth. I wanted to visit Whistlefish to stock up on some cards, I got quite a few plus some wrapping paper and also bought a canvas bag to carry them in ;-)) We walked down the high street to the pier and back again. Walking around near the maritime museum we saw a few jellyfish but I was too far up to take any decent photos. We had picked up some sausage rolls and drove up to Pendennis point to park up (this view) and eat them.

Next stop was Mylor to order some frozen pasties from the butchers to pick up on Friday on our way home. We drove around to the harbour but couldn’t find a parking space so then on to Truro to visit Skinners brewery where Mr C always stocks up on his Betty Stogs beer. Then back home to a rested and refreshed mum & dad. A grey day but still no rain (a couple of spits and spots but really nothing).
