Goodbye Salen
A damp morning, snatched from the bus’s window before it wound its way up to Acharacle and back along via Strontian and the Corran Ferry to Fort William. Then home.
But no time to tarry (though I did de-tarry in a quick shower) as we were out at theatre. On the beach too. Inspired by ancient keening rituals, about migration, loss and communal healing… weaving storytelling, choral soundscape and Gaelic song! Obviously the sort of thing I’d normally run a mile from, but hey, got to support the creatives, eh, and they sang pretty well.
And our FM had earlier outlined the next steps out of lockdown. As we’re currently at level zero, this is apparently termed moving beyond level zero. To infinity and beyond! Except you’ll still have to wear masks cos WE care for each other, not like you know whooos!
