Actually got up fairly early even though I started at 1:30. Finished reading 'the narrative of the life of Frederick Douglass' for my exam tomorrow. It was really interesting and also made me understand the realities of slavery better. I guess that's why it made such an impact on people, it's easier to understand something if it's explained to you by someone who has experienced it.

Lecture for the Tudors followed by a slightly dull seminar on the Awakening. I don't think it helped that the room was really warm which made me rather sleepy. Came back home to revise for tomorrow (hence the tip that is my bed in this photo) and have a bit of tidy (not yet started) before Cindy arrives tomorrow evening.
