Commercial media ridicules camp

Back-blip.

Reporters from advertising-rich commercial ("mainstream") media posed in front of the Occupy camp and ridiculed the movement before the camp was forcibly closed by police action. Despite the fact that the movement was composed of a cross-section of American people from all classes, many of whom are astute and articulate, the commercial media chose to interview a few drunks and rebellious teenagers they could ridicule. The commercial media gets its advertising from members of the business community who prefer the status quo to be maintained.
