Mundesley Beach
A rather unexpected visit to Mundesley this morning. M had been invited to play walking football there and so, at the last minute, I grabbed my camera and went with him. Judging by some of the fine buildings in the village it's heyday was the Victorian/Edwardian era. There was a traditional formal seaside garden on the cliffs, complete with wooden painted seaside shelters where I enjoyed a coffee and then wandered down to the sandy beach where some families were enjoying what the 'Blue-Flag' beach had to offer. This view looks across to Happisburgh Lighthouse and St Mary's Church. The extra shows the attractive row of beach huts.
A most pleasant way to spend an hour.
