The end of the line

It's the end of the line now, even though it's just over a mile further into Holt.  It didn't used to be, but the rest of the line is now underneath a road which bypasses the town.  There is enough space next to the road to rebuild a single line back to where the old station used to be and the railway would love to do it sometime.  They already own a small area of the land needed and the Local Authority support the idea; all the railway needs to do is raise the money needed, which won't be easy.

So for now it's the end of the line, and Black Prince needs to run around its train before heading back to Sheringham.
