Regal ...

... visitor.

Thankfully we have seen an uptick in the monarch butterfly sightings.  And all the females are kindly leaving us lots of eggs to raise.  I collected eight eggs just from the front yard.  And Richard collected another eleven in the back yard.  Our monarch nursery is full!

But there's plenty of milkweed to keep them happily growing ... I will keep you up-to-date on their progress in the days to come.

And ... we have found some more Eastern black swallowtail caterpillars as well! We still have two chrysalids in one enclosure just waiting for their emergence ... hopefully in the next few days.
