And then the clouds burst!

Sunshine to start one of my favourite walks from near Denholme, up and over the moors, and down into Leeming and Oxenhope...and then back up and over again!

The sunshine, however, was relatively short lived...the clouds soon burst in epic proportions. The rain pounded it down for a sustained period and I was truly soaked to the bone!!! I had to do a full outfit change immediately upon arrival home...and resort to the hairdryer!

Sometimes you win against the weather, other days you're not so lucky! You had to laugh because when I arrived back at my house, there clearly hadn't been any rain yet there was I, modelling the "I've taken a shower fully clothed" look!

It was great to hear the first names who will take part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing especially Tom Fletcher of McFly. Lovely man and I've always liked McFly!
