Ironbridge from The Bridge.

Working this morning then a game of golf in the evening.  I hadn't taken any images by 9:30 pm so, as I was quite close to this famous gorge, I popped down to take a quick photo on the way home.  The bridge itself is illuminated but really wasn't standing out as I wanted in the scene.  So instead I walked across the bridge and took photo of the shop fronts going down the river.

These same buildings are the ones that are in danger from flooding in extreme weather.  It is hard to believe but the water can rise by over 5 metres to breach the banks and wash across the road and into these properties.
