Sunny Cool and Calm

I went out to watch the sun rise this morning, but no colour in the clouds.  However the sun hit these poplars beautifully when it finally peeped over the mountains.  

I went to a most interesting session at SeniorNet, all about Solar Power.  It is called Virtual Power Plant, and the only place in the world who has it up and running is New York City, and it is most successful.  They want over 300 houses in Wanaka to join to make it work.  I will be looking into it.

After lunch I had a nice walk to town, have clocked up 10K steps.  Will settle in to watch the Olympic Games.
