Test before you travel to our islands.
We’re going to some of the Outer Hebrides tomorrow. “We” being my wife, our two sons and me! Today was a day of packing and more family chat about the long planned trip. Who’s got this, what are you taking etc?!
The Scottish Government is encouraging anyone visiting Scottish Islands to test for coronavirus prior to travel. The host asked we undertake lateral flow tests 3 days and the day before travel and confirm the results. We know the tests are not infallible etc but that’s the system.
We spent the afternoon in the garden, me looking at maps and my wife at “things to see;” we’ve done that before in the year long run up to the trip, this was a last minute refresher (see extra photo).
Looking ahead at the weather forecast …we see the recent warm dry spell in Scotland is slowly breaking down, with the North West becoming more changeable in the next few days. So, a bit of four seasons packing is warranted.
