Väven / The Weave

Possibly the most visible building in all of Umeå, this is a very rare example of modern architecture that I actually like looking at. It is built so that it nearly embraces the 19th-century Stora hotellet where we stayed.

The building in the foreground is similar in style, but not directly related.
