To the bridge...

...and beyond...

A busy morning - an appointment at the surgery straight after breakfast to get Roy's dressing removed. His wound is looking very tidy - but I'll spare you the visuals...

Coffee on our return, and as the weather forecast was pants for this aft we fitted our walk in before lunch. All the way to the bridge, then we carried on to the road before retracing our steps - just over 3k, but without a stop ( apart from chatting to the neighbours ) and the pace is increasing ;) 

Great joy - after lunch Roy was able to have his first proper shower now the dressing has gone. We're having a pottering afternoon ( I can hear the zzzzzzs as I type! ) though the rain hasn't arrived quite yet.
