Helianthus

My son and I went for a very early walk around our local nature reserve. As we got back to the car I spotted this sea of sunflowers looking rather beautiful. I don't think my photo does it justice to be honest.

The morning was really lovely and sunny, but the weather seems to have deteriorated over the day and has become overcast and windy.

In other news, we are receiving regular updates from my daughter with regards to her first camping holiday with her college friends. They had a bbq on the beach yesterday and today were painting pottery today ....interspersed tasting the nightlife of course!
