Verbena

It's been a rainy old day! I don't know why Cato insists on going out in it. I went down to get something this morning and he was sitting under a shrub sheltering. I told him how daft he is when there's a nice dry place indoors. He came in and I dried him off but before long he went out again.

I've been intending photographing the front garden and the verbena which seems to float over the other flowers on its narrow stalks. It probably gives that impression better on a sunny day but there we are.
