Overwhelming (but fun)

It can be a bit overwhelming when the breakfast table is covered in balloons and pressies just as you turn two years old. But the fun was spread across the whole day, interspersed with reassuring routine. As LMB'S big pressie from her parents was a purple hippo sandpit, it was good that the forecast rain stayed away till late afternoon. Our granddaughter had some lovely gifts, with a strong Peppa Pig theme. She's had a lovely day. Her beautiful dress was a pressie from her other granny and suited her perfectly.

It's taken me half an hour to post this blip as I fell asleep mid-writing! Zzzzzzzzzz.....
