The Phoenix Rises

By sheilaM

A ball with a view.

I first blipped this many years ago when this art installation was being built. The viewpoint above Vane Farm wetlands. The RSPB reserve is a jewel that I don't appreciate  enough. The cycle around the Loch is a good wee warm up. It's  not a huge challenge,  but for me it's  a lovely  wake up for my ageing muscles.  It was also great to do it when it wasn't  mobbed.  The Heritage trail has become a magnet to walkers, dogs and cyclists, which is fantastic, but a challenge to ride the narrow paths and not mow some down.
I wasn't  shattered, but was shocked to realise I had forgotten  a celebratory  drink with Greta. She had superb news regarding  her scan result.  She'll  see us all off.
The puppy snatcher  had borrowed  MonStar for another  interview and it turned out to be someone I used to work with.
When he returned  her I was one glass of red in and still in need of that post ride shower.  Shocking behaviour.
;-)
Ah well,

XS.
