My parents, Hugh and I had a little day trip out to Dunbar and some nearby towns. We're starting to look into buying a house and where might be the best place to live and commute outside the city. You do get much more for your money but then there's travel costs to factor in so all a big balancing act. We've only just started to look into it and still have to speak to the bank/mortgage advisor (this will be a fun conversation I'm sure!) but looking forward to having a place of our own in hopefully the not to distant future. We were quite taken with Dunbar though. I used to come here a lot when I was younger and enjoyed the waves at the swimming pool and I do love being by the sea :)
