A Gorgeous Hike

Sister Barb and I had a lazy morning, followed by a lovely hike on the Chamisa Trail in the Santa Fe National Forest. There were wildflowers everywhere, but the sun was high overhead and the lighting harsh, along with a good breeze which made the situation less than desirable for taking photos. I only had my iPhone with me but managed to snap a shot of these native Lupines growing near some old fallen trees. 

Gorgeous weather here, and I'm more relaxed than I have been in ages. Note to self :-)
