So this isn't quite what I had in mind. This row of trees is picked out a slightly eerie light coming from a strip of windows in the building opposite. It picks them out from the night sky in peculiar way which I completely failed to capture here.

Might try this one again with a tripod, and a little bit further away from that halogen light which makes its mark in a particularly orangey way.

Also, not in focus.
