Up in good time for the arrival of Arnold. Ma was at work so I had to entertain him by myself for the morning. I was really sleepy but thankfully he seemed to be too so we spent most of the morning on the sofa watching the Olympics. Little walk, then back to the sofa.

He got collected at midday, then in the afternoon I headed for Reading for an evening at Lucy’s. Our plan was to have dinner in her newly completed garden but the weather had other ideas. As always lovely to see them all.
