Officially An Adult

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It’s The Eldest Mini Princess’s 18th birthday! She is now officially ‘a growd up lady’.

We had a brilliant day. She wanted a day of no plans* (other than dinner) so we had a morning opening presents (with lots of help from Murphy) and eating cake before heading to Yellowcraigs for a walk on the beach.

Before dinner, we went to Summerhall for her first ever (legal) drink**. We were placed at table no 18 which YMP said was the universe sending us a message! The Prince and I started educating EMP about pub etiquette - no crying with your mates in the toilets but telling them that you love them (on repeat) is perfectly acceptable. Almost rude not to!

We went for dinner in The Three Birds. It’s one of those places that has such a nice vibe and the food is amazing. The four of us has a really lovely evening together.

Me, the parent of a bona fide grown-up. WTF?!
