Ruby Throated Hummingbird

I was up and outside early this morning before the rain came in. I put the old bread out for the crows and a new sweet corn on the picnic table for the squirrels. I scratched MiniMe around the neck and got her fed and then put out some of the garden ornaments that I had taken up for Kent to cut the grass yesterday.

After that was all done, MiniMe & I sat outside for a couple of hours. (See extra) MiniMe stayed under cover to ensure no dive bombing could take place. She is still very leery thanks to the nasty mockingbirds but thankfully they have moved on and so hopefully MiniMe will soon realize she is safe to roam in the open once more

After showering and getting dressed I’m heading downtown to my eye doctor’s office. Going to take a pair of glasses to get new lenses put in them. Also need to make Kent’s annual check up appointment.

That will have me back home well before noon and I’ll get started on some beading.
