A tiny tragedy

I noticed this bumblebee clinging motionless to the lavender in the shopping parade flowerbed, but thought it was just having a rest - bumblebees work so hard they often run out of energy and need to take a little break.
It wasn’t until I got home and looked at the image that I noticed it was tangled in a thread, and so was probably dead.
R.I.P. bumblebee, you died doing your duty :)
