COMMON SANDPIPER.

Left for the loch this morning hoping to see the Osprey, didn't see it but managed to see this little Sandpiper. Could not believe it was only home about half an hour and a friend phoned to say they were watching the Osprey fishing on the loch. Totally sick! I was planning on going back tonight, but after weeks of no rain, it came with thunder and lightening, so still not looking very promising.. My extra is a shot taken during the down pour.
Managed to get a little gardening done between the thunder and lightening and the Olympics.
Rain on again so doubt I will not be going back to the loch tonight.
