The Shrew
Butterflies were proving too difficult to photograph in very blustery conditions today. In between heavy showers I dropped down onto a more sheltered chalk path that I haven't walked before and found about a dozen Wall Brown. In France these are called La Mégère (the Shrew). This one is a male.
In other news, we heard today that our daughter is returning to Sussex in the new year as she has negotiated a transfer with her employer. Our son has also got a new job and will be working in Surrey from next month. As a result we will probably move within Sussex rather than relocating to Somerset as planned.
