Pale house

Met the estate agent at the house to walk through all that needs doing before the tenants move in on 18 August.  It’s a bit daunting!  But I’ve planned two more trips up but it might have to be three.   Vikram came up to walk through it all with me.  This pic is of my now white study with the new floor in the hall.  I’d not seen any of it as it got done in lockdown in January prior to some neighbours renting it informally for a few months. 

We got out of London at about 1pm and sped home to get the house ready for N and C and the kids to arrive at 5.  Very jolly evening if too rainy to do the planned pizza party. Vik made great kids and grown up pasta and we drank champagne and had a great deal of fun.
