Round in Circles

Interestingly my heritage beetroot has been more successful than the normal garden variety. Looking forward to tasting both in salad tonight. 

We visited my Dad and M in Fife for lunch today which was lovely and relaxed. We sat and chatted for 3 hours taking a break to watch 1500m - well done Laura Muir. We've seen her run on a number of occasions over the years and it was good to see her get a medal.

We stopped at the Tatha Gallery in Newport on way down to look at their latest exhibition which including pieces by Helen Glassford whose work we both really like. They were excellent and there was one we especially liked and may treat ourselves to.

We stopped at Dobbies on way back to look at garden furniture but nothing grabbed our eyes. We did come away with a few plants and a pizza (they have an in-store Sainsbury's) which we will have with the salad.
