Inside The Hill House cage.

I felt the need to explore somewhere other than the lovely farm shop for takeaway coffee and suggested we went to the Hill House.
I must say I find it hard to reframe my reaction to the protective cage into anything other than dismay at how sad it looks these days.
It's a beautiful building and it is still possible to have a guided tour , but much as felt when I visited Kelvingrove recently, there is nowhere to linger and contemplate the beauty of the house.
And it poured from the heavens ! I love thunderstorms but preferably not without a coat !
The extra is looking out through the mesh over Helensburgh and the Clyde.
Oh - and the cafe was not impressive, so back to the farm shop next time !
