York

We caught the train into York today for a change of scene.

I haven’t been for a long time but N goes on a school residential most years. We showed L a few of the sights like The Shambles and the Minster. We also took a walk around part of the city walls by Micklegate.

We watched a street entertainer juggling fire torches, sword swallowing (yuk) and riding a 9 foot unicycle. Poor N got roped into the show... he had to throw the man a lit torch and also hold his unicycle while he climbed up. L was thoroughly entertained by the whole thing.

At teatime we had a last meal with Nanna before we head home tomorrow.
