Taken from the bedroom window this morning at Manor Fisheries. It’s call is one that I always associate with England so it was fitting that one woke us up this morning.

We said farewell to family in Kent and visited more family in Stone on our journey to Wigan. It’s wonderful to see everyone after 20 months of being unable to so.

The drive up from Kent to Wigan was very slow with constant stopping and starting. It took hours longer than it should’ve done…..we’d forgotten how busy the roads get in the UK, especially at this time of the year.
