Another late night

Another lovely day showing our friends around the area.  We went to Morston for a quick look, Blakeney for a four mile walk along the marsh, Cley for shopping in the smokehouse, and Rocky Bottoms (unsuccessfully) for lunch.  We got soaked, we dried off, we sat in the car in a violent thunderstorm waiting to go into the restaurant and when it stopped they were full.  So we had fish and chips at home.  Then we had a snooze, and then we talked for hours and drank wine and ate cheese.  And now I’m ready for bed again.

Lovely to see these kids enjoying themselves in the water at Blakeney; all they need is shallow water, a wet suit and a mud slide.
