Angel Eyes

Today I stopped into the cemetery down the road from my house. Bayview cemetery was opened in 1888 and is one of the largest in Whatcom county. It is 100 acres with over 25.000 people buried and only 60% capacity.

Some believe it to be one of the most haunted places in Bellingham, I have been there during the night as well as the day and have yet seen a ghost.

Legend has it that "Angel Eyes" is said to be the spirit of the women who lies beneath the statue, who many speculate was murdered unjustly because she was believed to be a witch. When in truth she died a young bride from tuberculosis .
