Why?

Started a new jigsaw.
Like many people, I always start with the edge pieces and sort through the whole box looking for them.
No matter how careful I am, I always miss at least one.

This lot was sorted so very carefully.

But I still missed three pieces!
Why do I never find them all at the first try??

Daughter blames the fact I was watching the Olympics at the time.
