Windows
I met my friend in Saltaire this morning, the plan was for coffee at the Boat House in case it was raining. They weren’t quite open at 11.00 am so as it was fine we went across Roberts Park for a coffee at the Half Moon cafe.
We managed a good half hour sitting outside before feeling the first spots of rain so walked around to The Boat House for lunch and got in just as the heavens opened. We got a table easily but it was soon very busy.
Luckily the rain had eased by the time we came out but we decided to have a look around Salts Mill before heading home.
This Hockney is a screen entitled Tea in the Caribbean, now wouldn’t that be nice! I liked the colours but also the mill windows reflected in it. Had to go upstairs to the book floor of course where all the windows had bright paper decorations in them. A nice way to spend a damp Saturday.
