Two Years On

Two years on from our last visit, we came to the Highland Wildlife Park today, taking advantage of a Zoo membership received from CyclopsJnr's Grandma.

He's grown a bit since we pictured him in the same spot last time!

We had a lovely visit. Highlights included the Arctic Fox, Wolves, Red Squirrels, and Wildcats (which were really active and visible today).  We also enjoyed the Bison, Deer, Camels, Great Grey Owl, Monkeys, all three Polar Bears and a distant pile of Tigers (mother and three cubs).

Afterwards we went back to the Highland Folk Museum to see the bits we missed yesterday (the 1730's township) - great fun!

We finished they day with wood fired pizza at an outside table.

The weather forecast was pretty wet, but other than a couple of brief and fairly light showers the weather was fine, so we felt pretty lucky!
