Dropwort or Meadowsweet
This is the sort of wild flowers I am likely to totally ignore when I am walking by but on closer inspection it is amazingly complex and delicate. The usual method to discriiminate between is in terms of habitat., The meadowsweet is found in wet roadside ditches whilst the dropwort is found in dry, chalky grassland. This was found beside a path in John Muir Country Park but not a particularly wet environment so I assume it is dropwort, though meadowsweet has a nice ring to it.
