Day 16

Today is the last full day of competition at these AOG 2021 Games and it’s jam packed! We’re here at the Kennebec River to watch our Pairs Synchronized Swimming Event. This happens to be the sixth pair about to get in the water. As you can see, twin gulls Hetty and Hermine Herring are already practicing their routine • Most likely it’s because the panel of judges has been relentless today, keeping scores unusually low. Perhaps they’re looking for a breakout performance, but with only four swimmers remaining, that possibility is narrowing • Before this pair dives in, let me remind everyone that the Closing Ceremonies will be at the AOG Olympic Stadium tomorrow afternoon. We’re all expecting a spectacular finish to what’s been a most memorable couple of weeks • Please, stay with us as we wait for the Start Signal.
