Basil and tomatoes

A perfect combination. The basil is home-grown but our own tomatoes are some way off as a result of a very cold spring and late planting.

We had a lovely morning, sipping coffee and enjoying home baking with J&J, making plans and putting the world to rights.

Steady rain this afternoon was very acceptable, all the time replenishing our water supply.
