Photo fir today

I’m not wanting to wish the summer away although today’s weather was rather miserable. We have a small fir tree that sits in a pot beside the front door and in the run up to Christmas it is decorated with lights. On close inspection I noticed that there has been a lot of fresh growth as can be seen in the photo.
