A day with the girlfriend

LM is dating a wonderful young lady named AG. They met at the nerds' summer camp they both attended, and decided they are an item. Trouble is, they live in two different towns. Today we met up at the Water Valley Watermelon Festival, with AG's mom and two friends. Since we are fully vaccinated, we were OK about being outside, though more concerned about our indoor activities. AG's mom is just fabulous: sunny, funny, smart, and very devoted to her two daughters. We had a wonderful time getting to know her.

Covid-19 numbers in MS are going through the roof again. Like the local schools, our uni adopted the mandatory mask policy again, though the classes will be taught face to face, taught in classrooms at full capacity (no social distancing). Or at least that's what we were told last week.
