The wonders and limits of our colour vision
We humans have eyes that can detect just a portion of the wavelengths of radiation that illuminate our world. Thanks to the gizmos that are built into our cameras we can now get some idea of what the world would look like if we could see only one colour, the rest being detected as black and white. Today the colour red.
These are Cape Daisies Osteospermum sp which come in a variety of colours and are, as the name suggests, native to Southern Africa.
