The colours are definitely autumnal but it was warm and dry. The Wrens were calling in the woodland and Scotch Argus butterflies busy in the fields. In the meadow the Small Scabious Mining Bee was busy collecting pollen and taking it back to its nest hole. Had to put it in the extra.
