Earth, wind and more wind

A strong crosswind. Unpredictable wind. Wide green ditch along the road. A little anxious.

From the campsite to the hotel near Den Helder it was only 45 kilometres by bike. We drank coffee around church time in Schagen. Schagen is very small, you can hardly call it a city.

A strong backwind when we turn to the right at Callantsoog and continued cycling along the coast, took us through dune area.

The hotel, perhaps nice to mention, is a gift from my headmaster, as a thank you for the days I took over the groups when there was a teacher shortage.
