Olympian Homecoming

Well the Tokyo Olympics came to an end today, probably one of the hardest Olympics for everyone for so many reasons.  But I've enjoyed watching the sporting action, seeing sports that you don't normally see and getting totally absorbed into the action.  Who would have thought BMX racing and tricks would be the one that captures our interest?  It's been wonderful to watch.

Or village Olympian was making his homecoming today and had an open top car drive through the village and there were hundreds that came out to see him.  Sadly Daniel didn't win a medal, but hopefully in 3 years time and some more experience he'll be able to rectify that in Paris.

Other than that I have had a lazy day.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  All the fantastic sporting action at the Tokyo Olympics
2.  The hundreds that came out to support our local lad
