Coming along nicely

A few days ago sheilwill posted a lovely picture of a developing butternut squash. I was fascinated, as I had been watching courgettes, which are similarly growing in a pot on the patio. So this is a flower and shows the courgette developing below. The one behind is just about ready to be picked. As Sheila said, it is all quite miraculous, more especially as she grew hers from a seed from a squash she was cooking - very clever. Gordon grew these from seed - but from a packet!
